Empowering Leaders. Equipping Families.
Igniting the Next Generation.
Meet Angela
Angela Marks is a passionate children's minister, visionary leader, speaker, trainer, and ministry consultant who has dedicated more than 17 years to equipping churches, empowering ministry leaders, strengthening families, and raising up a generation of children who know God, recognize His voice, and boldly walk in their God-given identity and purpose.
With an unwavering conviction that "There is No Junior Holy Spirit," Angela believes children are not simply the church of tomorrow but are vital participants in God's Kingdom today. Her ministry is rooted in the belief that children can experience God's presence, hear His voice, worship, pray, minister to others, and be empowered by the Holy Spirit.
A Journey of Faith, Calling, and Ministry
Angela's journey in children's ministry began in 2009 with the founding of With His Hands Puppets, a creative ministry that has presented more than 100 Christian and educational puppet productions. What began through the art of puppetry has grown into a broader calling to transform how churches approach children's discipleship.
In 2022, Angela founded With His Hands Outreach, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping leaders, strengthening families, and creating opportunities for children to encounter God through biblical teaching, creative ministry experiences, and intentional discipleship.
A significant milestone in Angela's ministry journey came in September 2026, when she was ordained through Kids in Ministry International (KIMI), founded by Becky Fischer, during the School of Supernatural Children's Ministry Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her ordination marked ten years since graduating from KIMI's School of Supernatural Children's Ministry in 2016 and affirmed a journey of faithful service, spiritual growth, and dedication to raising up a supernatural generation.
A Voice for the Next Generation
Angela is a national and international speaker, workshop facilitator, and ministry consultant who brings biblical depth, practical strategies, and Spirit-led creativity to churches, conferences, and leadership development experiences.
Her speaking and training experience includes serving as a mainstage presenter at the 2022 and 2023 KidzMatter Conferences in Nashville, Tennessee, along with presentations and workshops for Christian education conferences, ministry organizations, and church leadership teams.
In 2026, Angela served as a breakout speaker at the School of Supernatural Children's Ministry Conference, presenting "Redefining Kids Ministry" and "The Art of Spirit-Led Storytelling." These sessions reflected her commitment to moving children's ministry beyond traditional programming toward intentional, whole-child, Spirit-led discipleship.
Her training and consulting address children's ministry leadership, discipleship pathways, spiritual formation, parent partnerships, volunteer development, creative Bible teaching, and cultivating environments where children can encounter God and grow in their faith.
Equipping Churches and Developing Leaders
Beyond the pulpit and conference platform, Angela works alongside pastors, churches, and ministry teams to reimagine children's and youth ministry.
As a children's ministry consultant and coach, she helps churches clarify their vision, develop discipleship strategies, equip volunteers, strengthen ministry teams, and establish environments that nurture children spiritually, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
Angela also serves in various educational capacities within the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, including curriculum development, and digital content creation for the denomination's Children's Church School literature. Her experience also includes consulting and collaborative work with the AME Zion CARE 4 Children initiative and Virginia Theological Seminary's Faith-Filled Families initiative.
Education, Innovation, and Purpose
Angela holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology and a Master of Science in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Information Technology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
Alongside her ministry calling, she brings extensive professional experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), technology, and municipal operations with the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Her unique combination of ministry leadership, technology, creative arts, and organizational development enables her to bring innovative approaches to ministry training, curriculum development, and next-generation discipleship.
Her Heart and Mission
Whether preaching, teaching children, training leaders, developing curriculum, or consulting with churches, Angela's mission remains the same: to see children encounter the living God, discover who they are in Christ, and become confident, Spirit-led followers of Jesus.
She is committed to helping churches move beyond simply keeping children occupied to intentionally discipling them, equipping them, and making room for the Holy Spirit to work in and through their lives.
Her message is simple but powerful: Children do not have a junior Holy Spirit. They are not waiting to become part of God's Kingdom. They belong, they are called, and they can be used by God NOW!

"To equip leaders, strengthen families, and ignite the next generation to know Jesus, hear His voice,
and walk confidently in their God-given identity and purpose."

Through practical outreach ideas, storytelling techniques, and relationship-building strategies, participants will discover how to turn everyday moments into extraordinary opportunities for children to encounter Christ's love.
